Sushi Suite 202, Chicago’s first sushi speakeasy inside a hotel, has arrived at Hotel Lincoln! The hidden omakase sushi-bar offers a unique, intimate, and unforgettable experience.

Here’s how it works: Reservations for the 75-minute, 17-course Omakase dinner are made through Open Table or the Sushi-Suite website. The price of $125 per person is inclusive of tax and gratuity.

Upon arrival at Hotel Lincoln, check-in at the front desk to receive a key to room 202. The room, on the second floor, is recognizable by the red door frame.

Upon entrance to the warm and inviting 500 square foot suite, you know you’re in for a dining experience like no other. Inside the transformed space are a cocktail bar, seating area, and an intimate six-seat sushi bar.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early and unwind with a cocktail or two before dinner. The lounge area features beautiful velvet furniture, which is quite comfortable. The atmosphere and lighting set the tone for a fun and relaxing evening.

When I’d received the invitation to preview Sushi Suite 202, I thought it was a fresh and unique concept. However, the experience and execution went far beyond what I’d imagined.

The Chef guided us through an exciting food journey while subtly educating us. It was dinner and a show as we observed his graceful preparation of the sushi.

The fresh, high-quality fish flown in from Japan, New Zealand, and Mexico was incredible. Sushi Suite 202 was my first omakase experience. Dave and I had a fantastic time, therefore, it won’t be my last!

Sushi Suite 202 is open for dinner service Monday through Sunday (Sun-Thur, 5 p.m-11:15 p.m, Fri-Sat 5 p.m.-1 a.m.). It’s a fabulous choice for a special night out in the city. I can’t recommend it enough!

Hotel Lincoln

After dinner, stick around to hang out at Hotel Lincoln. The boutique hotel has a great vibe. There’s a rooftop bar with views of Lake Michigan and downtown Chicago, a restaurant, and a coffee shop inside the property. In addition, the hotel is dog-friendly!
